On issuance of an L/C, the issuing bank requested the advising bank to add its confirmation. The con

firmation charges were on beneficiary's account. The confirming bank advised and confirmed the credit to the beneficiary without realization of charges on promise by the beneficiary that the charges will be paid at the time of negotiation. However the beneficiary presented the document to issuing bank directly and the confirming bank remains unpaid. The confirming bank claim charges to the issuing bank.
